Parking Team

These teams are the ‘first touch’ a person gets as they arrive on our property on Sundays.  Duane Devereaux, HITC Parking Administrator 2009 - 2010 and currently one of four Parking Team Captians says, "I really believe that serving on a parking crew is the most FUN avenue of service at our church." and "serving in such a position is a tremendous blessing for the entire HITC community and guests."

There are four teams of 3 to 4 people that serve once a month on a rotating basis.  Currently we are looking for a few people to assist our members and guests to locate parking on Sunday mornings.  If you are interested in joining one of these teams, please contact our 2010 - 2011 HITC Parking Administrator, Phil Stolle at phil@thoughtsparks.net.

Welcome Team

1.   Welcome Team - This is a team for people who like meeting and greeting our members and visitors, who like the thought of being the smiling face that represents Hope in the City and who enjoy interacting with guests.  Serving on the Welcome Team will be on a rotating basis.

2.   Welcome Team Leader - The welcome team leader coordinates the serving Hope Groups and Welcome Team in the weekly duties of passing out bulletins, offering, and praying over the service. These people should be friendly, flexible, and have good leadership ability.

As a part of the Welcome Team and leading one, you will work with our Hope Group volunteers and makes sure every one who enters is warmly welcomed and assisted. If you are interested, contact the Dave Allen at davea@hopeinthecity.org.

Connection Team

This is the warm smile behind the BIG desk in the foyer.  The responsibilities include taking visitor cards, selling the books and C.D.s, passing out visitor bags, and talking to our new guests about possibilities of community. These people need to be outgoing and passionate about plugging people into our church. Sanctuary Help Team

 

These volunteers will go through our worship space on Sunday mornings before the service to tidy up and straighten the rows. They may also be called upon to help after the service if a Sunday afternoon event has been scheduled in the sanctuary. If you are interested, contact Dave Allen at davea@hopeinthecity.org.
