Sunday School Helpers
Occasionally our teachers need 'extra hands' for a messy project, a skit, or just because their regular helper is out today. We would love your helping hand in the Sunday School Areas during the service.
Sunday School Teachers
Sunday School Teachers are always wanted and if you love children, this is the perfect place to serve the church and the families of Hope in the City. Volunteering for even one class is a blessing to us and the children. You will love it and love the children!
Sunday Buddies
Sunday Buddies are people who come spend the Sunday School hour with a child who has special needs (short training involved).
Clean Up, Tidy Up Helpers
Once a month we need a helper to come to the children's preschool and elementary areas for a more in-depth clean up (Mr. Clean magic eraser the walls, wipe down the toys, etc). In the preschool area we need to assess the toys for possible throw aways, make sure all the pieces are to be found, they are safe and in good repair, etc ; the elementary area materials carts need re-stocking and sorting.
Resource Room helper
Once a month friend to come and tidy the Resource Room and make a list of items which need restocking.
