He doesn't have a close christian community around him but he does have family who loves him deeply in Houston, where he lives, and who is helping him. He needs to know that God is with him and to learn how to accept help from those who love him and want to be with him during this time. Oh Lord, break through, heal David and make Your powerful presence known in his life. You love him so much. ***
Family, Bettye (David's Mother) asked me to write and tell you to put David Brooks at the top of your prayer list. After consulting and test with the oncologist bladder surgeon at MDA, David's bladder cancer has spread into the walls and surrounding area. He will have 3 chemo treatments which can be very damaging to his body. It's a new powerful drug. The specialist said David's cancer was aggressive and fast growing and he wanted to try this treatment on the cancer. Bettye will know more after his Monday appointment, and you will be updated. Hey my HITC family! My name is Rebecca Windle and I would love your prayers on behalf of my Aunt Bettye Brooks and Cousin David Brooks, her son, who both have cancer and are being treated. The Doctor my aunt has been seeing picked a program for her cancer treatment and she will know on Friday April 24th if they will accept her. If they do, she will start the program on Monday April 27th. My cousin David Brooks recently received bad news about his bladder cancer. It has grown and they have decided to do surgery. After more testing they will decide on a date. The operation is going to be long.
I have seen many prayers answered over the past year as we join as a BODY to pray for people who are up on this prayer wall. Keep praying everyone! God hears, He is listening, He is healing and He blesses everyone who is involved in seeing His Kingdom come to Earth through the power of our intercessory prayers. You are making a difference!
