Praise Wall

From Hope in the City at office@hopeinthecity.org:

Praise God!  He answered our prayers for Scott.  Thank you for your faithful prayers.  Keep praying.

Scott Morris' surgery was successful. The surgeon found that the tumor was 'dead' and believes he was able to remove all of it. It is expected that Scott will be in the hospital in Phoenix for a week or so and then in rehab for another week. The Morris' ask that you please continue to pray for Scott's recovery and that every area of his brain will be healthy.  They have no needs at this time...we'll update you as the time gets closer to the family's return to Austin. God is good and very faithful.

A Praise Note from Darren Bond who was with Scott Morris:

Praise be to God!   For those who haven't heard, Scott's surgery was not
only a great success, but a miracle.  When the surgeon went in, there was no malignancy / no live cancerous growth anywhere.  The tumor was dead and all they had to do was remove the dead tissue.  It was an 8 hour surgery, and shortly after Scott was not only awake, but he was able to pray with those who were still there.  I could go on and on about the past 48 hours, but look forward to sharing more.  Today, Scott was eating a banana this morning and felt better than he ever had during his previous same 3 surgeries.  We serve an Awesome God.

in Him,

Darren Bond
