Testimony from Roy Reyes!
I am new to your church, before I was going to Church of the Hills but moved to circle C. I have been giving a bible class at work for about 5 weeks now. At the class we have people from many churches. I have been talking about how we don't need to "convince" anyone to become a Christian rather show them God's love and power for us and how he really cares about having a relationship with us. At the class we have a couple of non church goers. Many have their method for speaking to nonbelievers and a cheat sheet for speaking to Mormons or Jehovah witnesses but I tell them that the power of God is what changes a person instantly without having a debate. This past week a co-worker was standing in the hall way, I stopped to talk to her and in the conversation she told me that she was going to a Jehovah witness church. I did not start to talk how they have changed the bible etc. I noticed she was uneasy about something so I asked "are you ok?" she told me that for 3 days she's had a terrible pain on her foot she was going to go to the doctor the next day. She had not gone sooner because doctors are expensive. She was forced to set up a doctor appointment because the pain was too much especially since she worked on her feet all day. I told her "can I pray?" she told me it would be embarrassing so I told her I could do it in Spanish (she is Hispanic) and that it would be less than a minute. I reached down and touched her foot and she moved back in pain. I just spoke out "I command this foot to be healed in the name of Jesus" that's it. She was still in pain but I told her "God is healing you". I left and forgot about the entire thing. Next day I came to work one of the lady's that is going to the bible study but is not a church goer comes to me "Roy! Did you see Rosa? She is hysterical because she says that God healed her!" Now she is going to stop going to the Jehovah witness church and is going to come with her son to our church and make Jesus her lord. The other lady after seeing the power of God is also considering coming doing the same. This was a perfect lab work for our bible study!
