Hello!
We saw the Dr this morning and she said she is comfortable sending us
home today!!! Yay! The Dr said that the second blood culture was negative (so
it cleared in the first 24 hrs on antibiotics). She also said that she thinks
the infection was only on one side (left kidney). She believes that there is no
reason to expect him to be at great risk for re-infection and little chance
there should be any scarring on his kidney. So... we go home today and finish
out the 14 days on oral antibiotics and follow up with our family Dr.....
