HITC D-School

Hope in the City D-School

The D in D-School stands for : Disciple

= Disciple = a learner, a follower, a student of Jesus - one who obeys Christ and imitates His lifestyle.

THIS TRAINING WILL BE THROUGH...

D-school 2011

IN D-SCHOOL WE WILL...

1)  Intensify the process of being conformed to the image of Christ. We will position ourselves to be transformed through practicing the spiritual disciplines.  We will seek to create an environment which encourages growth and fruitfulness in every area of life.
2)  Clarify our unique gifts and callings through study, learning from gifted leaders, and stepping out into various ministry experiences to "road test what's under the hood".
3)  Become more missional WHEREVER we are.  We will start by becoming more missional in our own network of relationships.
4)  Be trained up into more effective and dedicated "workers" in the Kingdom.
5)  Prepare ourselves to pursue God's call on our lives - even to the ends of the earth.  D-School is one of the first steps for anyone wanting to join a Hope for the Nations churchplanting team overseas.

D-SCHOOL IS FOR EVERYONE - Recent College Grads, Empty-nesters, Young Couples and Families, you name it!

Applicants are not expected to have already achieved any particular level of spiritual maturity.  D-School is an exciting opportunity for character-building, training, and growth - and we invite you to come along with us on this amazing journey!
