WHY WE ENCOURAGE EVERY-CHRIST FOLLOWER TO PARTICIPTE IN THIS 7 MONTH FOCUSED DISCIPLING PROCESS. OUR 5 MAIN GOALS ARE:
- To intensify the process of us being conformed to the image of Christ. We will position ourselves to be transformed through practicing the spiritual disciplines and thus create an environment - a spiritual hot house for us to grow and bear more fruit than we ever thought possible.
- To clarify each of our unique gifts and calling through study, learning from gifted leaders, and stepping out into various ministry experiences to "road test" what's "under the hood".
- To help us each become more missional WHEREVER on the planet God chooses to call us. We will start by being more missional in our "oikos" (network of existing relationships), in our city.
- To turn us all into more effective and dedicated "workers" in the church and in the harvest.
- As a prerequisite for those who would go to the next level of training (CPX) in order to be sent out as a member of an HFN CP team or be invited on the staff at HITC.
