HOW does HFN work?

The living and ministry expenses of our field staff are provided entirely through monthly and special contributions from churches and individuals who have chosen to partner with them to see the Kingdom of God advance among the least-reached peoples of the earth. 

HOW can I get involved?  Pray, Give, or Go.

PRAY.    Join us at our monthly Prayer Shield meetings, where you can hear updates of what’s happening which each of our teams on the field, and then join with others for focused prayer.  This is a key way in which the Body in Austin can partner with our “hands and feet” overseas to bless the nations of the earth.  And prayer for our teams is not just limited to the monthly prayer shield meetings.  Come spend time in the HITC prayer room, or contact hfn@hopeinthecity.org to find out more about how to receive regular updates from different teams on the field.

GIVE.   All of our teams, both long-term and short-term, are funded fully by the generous financial support of individuals like you who believe that God's heart encompasses all people and all nations. If you would like to hear more about a specific team’s vision and work, please contact hfn@hopeinthecity.org.  If you are ready to partner financially with Hope for the Nations, you can follow the directions below:

  1. Make checks payable to “Hope for the Nations”.
  2. If you want to support a specific project or individual , please attach a note to the check. Per IRS regulations, please do not write an individual’s name or project name on the check, or you may not be eligible for a tax-deduction.Otherwise, all gifts to HFN are 100% tax deductible.
  3. Send Checks to: Hope for the Nations; 4407 Monterey Oaks Blvd; Building 1, Suite 120; Austin, TX 78749.
  4. If you are interested in giving regularly through direct debit from your checking account, please contact our accounting department at accounting@hopeinthecity.org.
  5. The individual or project that you designate will receive 100% of your gift – no money is taken out for administrative costs. 
  6. You can also give through Paypal but clicking on the DONATE button below. Please make sure you add "Special Instructions to the Seller" concerning who or what ministry you would like your donation to go to. A fee may be added at "check out".
               

GO.   “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.”  HFN is recruiting – there is far more work to do than we have workers to do it!  If you would like to find out more about how to partner with HFN in the work of the Kingdom, whether through a “STINT” (3-6 months), a short-term trip (1-2 weeks), or a long-term overseas assignment (2-5 years), contact hfn@hopeinthecity.org.  We are also looking for people interested in being trained to serve on humanitarian & crisis response teams.  See "Who?" for more information about opportunities to receive training and to serve.
