Sunday School

 

Fall - Spring

Sunday mornings are usually an adventure for HITC kids!
Toddlers through K-5's use "My First Look" curriculum where they learn #1 God Made Me #2 God Loves Me #3 Jesus Wants to be My Friend Forever. 1st through 5th graders learn about wisdom, faith and friendship with 252 Basics. They learn #1 I Need to Make Wise Choices #2 I Can Trust God no Matter What #3 I Should Treat Others the Way I Want to be Treated.

Summer

For Summer Quarter Sunday School you may come upon groups of HITC kids reading and discussing Patricia St. John novels, attending “Camp” in the AHS choir room and building a teepee, prayer walking the AHS hallways or making worship banners. Once per month the Elementary children join together for what we call “Missions Focus Sunday” where they experience the culture, food, music, and people of other countries hearing from the hearts of HITC short or long-term missionaries or recent travelers.
